IPC

The International Press Corps (IPC) is no ordinary committee for delegates. Instead of representing various nations like more conventional committees in the Model United Nations realm, IPC consists of delegates taking on the delegations of different news agencies from all around the world. They report on all the committees and their progress towards resolutions using written articles and video interviews. Each and every one of these publications and video creations must follow the tone, bias, and style of delegates’ respective news agencies.

IPC seeks to solve the issue of committee isolation, an occurrence characterized by traditional delegates having little to no knowledge of the events in other committee rooms, by granting delegates access to a site where they can read and watch reports about each and every committee at PacificMUN. At this year’s conference, this committee will be a double delegation having to two delegates per delegations.
